Introduction

Our goal is to make the Blustream platform configurable and extensible to fit your business’s needs. In this spirit we offer a wide variety of configurations dependent on the solution. Please reach out and work with your Blustream account manager to understand the specific options. In instances where configuration outside the scope offered is required additional service costs may apply.

Content

1.1 App Branding
Any and all branding used must be under the ownership of your company or you have written permission for use of said brand in the application from the owner.

1.2 Content Ownership
Your app’s brand is assumed by end users as the content created for any content delivered within the app. Therefore, you must secure the rights to any content in-app presented as your own. This can include ownership, licensing, leasing, or explicit permission. For any publicly available content that may be delivered appropriate credit must be attributed as well as following standard-use practices such as delivering the content as is.

1.3 Required Materials
When delivering any digital application to end users there are some minimum required materials that must be made available. For all applications on the Blustream platform we require a:

  • End User Support Email Address and Phone Number
  • EULA (End User License Agreement)
  • Privacy PolicyApple App Store and Google Play Store apps additionally require:
    • Developer Accounts
    • App Store Graphics and Text
      * for a detailed list of app store requirements please refer to their corresponding guidelines

Legal

Apps must comply with all legal requirements in any location where you make them available (if you’re not sure, check with a lawyer). We know this stuff is complicated, but it is your responsibility to understand and make sure your app conforms with all local laws, not just the guidelines below. And of course, devices that solicit, promote, or encourage criminal or clearly reckless behavior will be rejected. In extreme cases, appropriate authorities may be notified.

1.1 Mobile Apps
If delivering your mobile app through a third party app store, the most common being the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, your app must additionally comply with any and all requirements of said store

1.2 Configured Rules
You are responsible for proper configuration of any rules and their accuracy. Blustream may assist in creation of the rules, but the specific rule logic of what to send to who and when remains your responsibility. For example, if you configure a rule to alert users when their instrument is 100°F, our platform will do exactly that. It does not guarantee that users won’t suffer damage at 95°F. You are the product expert, we are the technology platform.

1.3 App Design
Custom app designs, graphics, and workflows are at your discretion and as such responsible for copyright enforcement and compliance with applicable guidelines such as ADA or WCAG.

1.4 Release Testing
We are constantly working to provide the highest level of quality for the platform across a wide variety of applications and companies. At the end of the day, it is your application powered by the Blustream platform. You are responsible for final testing and in the event of Blustream submitting applications on your behalf, approval of all releases. From time to time, only when necessary, Blustream may release a critical update with a reasonable timeframe upon which a new update must be released or risk loss of features or quality.
